I am currently working on quite a large project for Salt, which has a stainless steel weft at about 50 picks per inch. The warp is a mixture of fine and thick viscose and cotton, in shades of purple and beige.
The sample is finished, and the photos show the effect of daylight and sunshine through the fabric. The view is back towards the house, from the weaving shed.

Spring
Nothing to do with weaving or rambling but just loved this photo of snowdrops in the gardens of Morland House, Cumbria, taken last weekend.
Latest project....
The recently completed project for Salt, 5.5 metres of "Meandrous" fabric in linen, stainless steel, cotton and viscose. As seen through my lounge window whilst laid on the carpet (the weaving, not me!)
